... is Jonny. He's a little slow, but he remembers one phrase very clearly. And he doesn't talk a whole lot, but he repeated this phrase several times into my translator's ear tonight when we asked him if he could remember anything about his childhood. It was the last thing his parents ever said to him.
"Wait here, and I'll come back for you."

It's hard for my comfortable mind to get around the ache that some children must feel, but my heart that's been tenderized by the Holy Sp...t and the trials that life brings can touch his. May G.. bless him--and you, as you serve him.

Thanks for talking with Joey! This entry broke my heart. It is incomprehensible to me that a parent could do that. Thanks so much for giving him so much love and the hope of a love he doesn't yet understand.
